Karen Rages To The Extreme In 'Plankton: The Movie' Trailer
A new one-gal robot rebellion has descended upon the world and it’s all Plankton’s fault this March
Are you ready kids? There’s only one aye needed here. Netflix recently confirmed that their second exclusive SpongeBob SquarePants movie, Plankton: The Movie, would be premiering on March 7. Being about 5 weeks away at the time of the confirmation, release would be coming up faster. Tuesday had the streamer and Nickelodeon release the trailer. And no bout of piracy will stop them from using these 5 weeks well.
It opens with a song from SpongeBob himself before Plankton pauses and reminds the audience that it’s his movie. However it turns out he’s made his own enemy: his computer wife Karen. After one failure too many without even an ounce of her input that could push things in the right direction, on top of being ignored right then and there, she’s absolutely enraged and goes on the offensive. Now she’s going after world domination herself. And all of Karen’s friends, Sandy, Mrs. Puff, and Pearl are part of the mission to knock some sense into her. Certainly seems a more proactive outing from the supporting cast. A fully-armed Karen even heads to the surface to bring her takeover attempt to land, because it wouldn’t be a SpongeBob movie without a live action element.
