All the quips and thwips in the world are far and wide
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is absolutely swinging. In its first 24 hours of release it sold more than 2.5 million copies. That makes it the fastest-selling game for PlayStation Studios ever. The tally does include individual pre-orders and those bundled with PlayStation 5s.
Spider-Man 2 is the sequel to the 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man game and a follow-up to Spider-Man: Miles Morales, released in 2020, all made by Insomniac Games. Here, players can choose between Peter Parker and Miles Morales and includes a new “Web Wings”, making it possible to travel across an even bigger New York City. Venom, Kraven the Hunter, and the Lizard are just a few of the supervillain rogues players face off against over the course of the game.
