Hear Master Yoda's New Voice In The 'Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures' Trailer
The series already has shorts which debuted at the end of March
Sing a song of Jedi friend adventures lately? Well you might when Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures premieres in just a few weeks. The show’s trailer was released Monday on the final day of Star Wars Celebration Europe.
In it, Yoda gives a brief introduction to each of the kids, Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, Nash, and Nubs as their adventure awaits, preparing them for what’s to come. Traversing world upon world as they undergo Jedi training, learning and exploring, helping others, even encountering space slugs and using the force. They have their droid friend RJ-83 along, and it’ll be fun yet dangerous the whole way.
As for the voice cast, Jamaal Avery, Jr. voices Kai, Emma Berman is Nash, Juliet Donenfeld is Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker is Nubs, getting to use his animal noise techniques in a way similar to Rufus from Kim Possible, while Jonathan Lipow is the droid RJ-83. One may have noticed Yoda sounds a little different, as due to Tom Kane’s premature retirement from a 2020 stroke, Piotr Michael is making his regular series debut as the little Jedi Master runt from Dagobah.
The preschooler-aimed series is set to premiere on Star Wars Day, May 4, on Disney Junior and Disney+. How many episodes will drop on the streamer is unknown, but it will be joined there by the second volume of Star Wars: Visions. The trailer can be watched below.
