Sue’s Sunday Dinner Pregnancy Reveal Is First 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' Clip Released
Up comes a knockin’ for the movie's first released clip
Sundays at 7, on the dot, no matter what. Ever since Marvel Studios released the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps in February, the Richards’ family dinner tradition has not been forgotten. There are two Twitter accounts dedicated to it. Primarily Eastern Time-geared. Every week the clip is tweeted at that appropriate time. Since releasing its last trailer, several TV spots, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and an Independence Day greeting have been released. The press tour hit Paris today. But Sunday night, Marvel Studios finally released the film’s first clip, and thanks to the film’s second trailer first shown at CinemaCon, it’s one audiences are very familiar with: where Ben Grimm, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, deduces that Sue Storm, played by Vanessa Kirby, is pregnant.
They’re all civilian in the scene so I don’t think they need their hero identities said. What exactly surrounds it? Ben is putting the finishing touches on dinner, seemingly with lots of salt, as Johnny Storm, Sue’s brother played by Joseph Quinn, brings cereal to the table. He couldn’t hold out. Sue and husband Reed Richards, played by Pedro Pascal arrive a minute late, enough time to briefly consider starting without them. They’re so on edge even being told “you’re late” freezes them. They come up with a bullshit excuse about his shoulder. They’re being weird and Johnny knows it, deflecting back the questioning of the cereal. Ben asks, Sue confirms, asking how he knew. He basically says they have no poker face. Johnny reacts as we’ve known him to as it played in the trailer.

'Rick And Morty' Boss Talks Latest Episode’s James Gunn Appearance, Zack Snyder Surprise
James Gunn is no stranger to animation, having cameoed on Harley Quinn and contributed to the story of Coyote vs. Acme, on top of all the CG and CG characters of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy and The Suicide Squad. And that was even before (okay there’s slight overlap) he became co-CEO of
