Lana And John Henry Cue A Break In 'Superman & Lois' Series Finale Clip
One last preview clip for the road. It went by so fast.
The day is here. The series finale of Superman & Lois airs tonight, December 2 at 8 PM on The CW. For much of the season, I couldn’t keep up with the preview clips, falling off after just week 2, when episode three released. It still felt right to do for the big night.
With Superman (played by Tyler Hoechlin) back alive, there’s no flashbacks to divert to. Having to face off against Doomsday and Lex Luthor (Michael Cudlitz), TVLine could’ve gone for mid-battle footage against either of them. Being an Arrowverse-adjacent series finale, the “Back for the Finale” trope is expected to be in full effect, with many familiar faces returning. Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash utilized it extremely effectively. However what’s likeliest for Superman & Lois is that its departed series regulars, at least those who have essentially been recurrers this season will all be back for the same episode for the first time since the budget cuts that caused the demotions. Although that’s probably difficult with Lois’s father, Sam Lane (Dylan Walsh), being dead. Still, take the preview scene featuring Emmanuelle Chriqui’s Lana Lang and Wole Parks’s John Henry Irons, talking about college-bound Sarah (Inde Navarrette), getting to go abroad when Lana never had, over a game of pool. Lana knows it’s going to be an adjustment, but she also knows that her and John Henry’s relationship hasn’t been ideal. Whether this counts as a date is unclear, but it’s been 4 dates in 20 months. But just as they’re about to put more definitive words to it, there’s a rumbling coming in, which ends the clip. TVLine has not posted it in an embeddable capacity.
'Superman & Lois' Collects Final Shed Regular And A Fully-Formed Doomsday Headed Into Series Finale
Monday’s penultimate episode of Superman & Lois "To Live and Die Again" did a lot to set up the series finale, which airs this coming Monday, teeing up the final battle between Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and Michael Cudlitz’s Lex Luthor. Just when you thought every series regular lost to budget cuts had come back, the show throws in one more surprise, th…
Tonight’s series finale, “It Went By So Fast”, has the logline “The Kents fight with everything they have as Luthor makes his final move on Smallville.” It may also see Tom Cavanagh put in one more appearance as Gordon Godfrey as originally teased. Chriqui marked the occasion of the series finale in her Instagram stories saying “Tonight marks the end of an extraordinary journey. Series finale of Superman & Lois. Thank you to our amazing fans and to our all star cast, crew, writers, directors and producers. Forever grateful I got to play Lana Lang. WHAT A RIDE!”
We Don’t Know Anything About Earth-Prime Clark And Lois’s Sons
At the end of the Arrowverse adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths, as the ramifications of the multiversal reboot set in on Earth-Prime, Lois Lane calls her husband Clark Kent, who’s flying over…Earth skies as Superman, telling him he needs to get home to Metropolis. “It’s the boys”, she says. Clark is confused, because pre-Crisis, they only had one …
