'Pokémon: Paldean Winds' Anime Announced For YouTube During Pokémon Presents
Another series, 'Path to the Peak' was also announced
In the last decade, Pokémon has made fully fledged series to go up on Pokémon TV and YouTube alongside the main anime on TV. It started with Pokémon Origins in 2013 before the 20th and 25th anniversaries brought Generations and Evolutions respectively The early part of Generation VIII brought Twilight Wings, and now, a bit later into Generation IX, Paldea becomes the wind beneath with, well Paldean Winds.
The series was announced during Tuesday’s Pokémon Presents. Pokémon: Paldean Winds is a coming-of-age story for several Naranja Academy students as they come into their own, growing and learning as they attend. The main character, Ohara, has Dot (from Horizons)-like hair but brown and a Fuecoco. The blue-haired character of Nemona-esque stature is named Aliquis and has a Meowscarada, while a heavier, studious male, Hohma, has a Quaxly. It is set to premiere on the franchise YouTube channel on September 6.

The Pokémon Presents also revealed updates for Pokémon Cafe Remix, Sleep, Masters EX, Unite, and Pokémon Go. The latter includes the imminent Go Fest events and arrival of Paldean starters, while Detective Pikachu Returns’s newest trailer is proving to be more a remake with slightly different supporting cast, Pokémon Horizons got a new trailer, and Scarlet and Violet got a lot of news that will definitely be enough for its own article.
