'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Sets Season 3 Premiere Date
It’ll be time to set off again in July on Paramount+
I have fallen so behind on many Paramount+ things, like Criminal Minds: Evolution and SkyMed season 3s getting premiere dates that have now both come to pass, but this I refuse to be. It’s been a month since the teaser for the third season of the streamer’s sole active Star Trek show Star Trek: Strange New Worlds set a summer premiere window, inching closer to two years since the previous season thanks to delays brought on by the dual strikes. Now we have an actual premiere date, and it’s Thursday, July 17.
Two episodes will premiere that day to probably reward the patient fans to some extent, while the eight remaining episodes roll out individually, landing the season finale on September 11. The season’s official description reads “When we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike (Anson Mount), they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve.” A new poster was also released.
