As the days head closer to the season 7 premiere of Rick and Morty, there’s still plenty of marketing to do over the next five weeks, and for the first time this cycle, it’s a promo entirely of new animation.
This time, Beth and Summer are recruited to do a promo, no doubt to alleviate any need to utilize Rick and Morty before they’re ready to reveal who the new voices of the characters are in the wake of Justin Roiland’s firing. Such also took popular side characters like Mr. Meseeks and Mr. Poopy Butthole out of the equation.

The two start hyping the season with such possibilities as Morty finally starting to date Jessica despite where they left off. Jerry could get a job! Anything is possible! Including returning characters! Beth teases the promised pickup of Rick’s hunt for Rick Prime, and even Evil Morty if they ever wanted to disturb him in the universe he crossed into. Summer proposes a Citadel of Summers to crush the patriarchy. Beth then just gives up in favor of lower-stakes plots like food poisoning, and Summer concurs, but still urges viewers to watch.
Rick and Morty season 7 premieres on October 15 at 11 PM on Adult Swim, and will be 10 weekly episodes, completely uninterrupted. The network cut ties with Roiland in January due to domestic violence charges and allegations of inappropriate behavior. His replacement(s) will likely be given its own announcement closer to premiere.
