'Clone High' Revival Drops All 10 Classes For Season 2 On February 1
Nothing bad ever happens to the binged shows!
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Clone High revival’s second season would be releasing on Max in February, something that came with the announcement of the season’s guest stars. On Thursday, the streamer released the season 2 trailer, and revealed what kind of rollout the season was going to have.
Season 2, the third overall with the original that premiered on Teletoon in Canada in 2002 before making its way to MTV for American audiences a few months later that made it the cult classic having to wait two decades to be revived, will premiere wasting no time on February 1. Max has decided it won’t get to encompass all of February (hi, it’s a leap year), as like Disney+ with The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, it will forego the weekly releases season 1 had altogether. They’re not bothering to stretch the season out a bit longer either with singleton releases as opposed to season 1’s paired releases. Instead, it’s binge time baby! All ten episodes are releasing that day. Ah making it a chore for viewers and fans alike. Leisurely paces aren’t allowed anymore.
'Clone High' Revival Welcomes A New Class Of Guest Stars For Season 2
Class will be back in session next month for the students of Clone High as Max sets a February release (exact date TBA) for the long-awaited revival’s second season, the third overall. They have also revealed the season’s guest cast. Among the big names coming aboard are
Class is back in session for a new school year. The clones are understandably still not over Joan’s actions in the Death Maze that Candide exposed, but it seems these episodes will have all sorts of parties and dances going on. Scudworth wants to get out, Harriet’s getting raided. There’s more maturity, more couples, and more clones, like Jackee the Ripper (voiced by who else but Jackee Harry), Mussolini, Stalin, and somehow a baby Patrick Swayze. There’s more chaos, bears and bullying too. The press release is weird because the season 2 logline is the same as or befits the first, not worth sharing again.
Clone High stars Nicole Sullivan as Joan; Christa Miller as Candide Sampson; Will Forte as Abe; series co-creators Phil Lord as Scudworth and Christopher Miller as JFK and Mr. B, and Mitra Jouhari as Cleo; with newcomers Vicci Martinez as Frida Kahlo, Emmy-winning The Bear breakout Ayo Edebiri as Harriet Tubman, Kelvin Yu as Confucius, and Neil Casey as Topher Bus, the Christopher Columbus clone. Donald Faison as George Washington Carver and Judah Miller as Scangrade. The season’s guest stars in addition to Harry include Randall Park as Frida’s Adopted Dad who still hasn’t been given a name, Jermaine Fowler as Toussaint Louverture, Paul F. Tompkins as Professor Hirsute, Stephen Root as Schneider Snorkelle, Hannah Simone as Lady Godiva, The Good Place alums D’Arcy Carden as Mary and Jameela Jamil as Mrs. C, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Sandra Sandria and Richard Kind as Nostradamus.
The series, also created by Scrubs, Cougar Town, and Ted Lasso creator Bill Lawrence and the three, as well as the aforementioned Judah Miller are among the series’s many executive producers. Whoo go February 1! Watch the trailer below.
'Lizzie McGuire' Scrapped Revival Writer Reveals What The Heck Was In It
It has now been 4 years since Lizzie McGuire creator Terri Minsky departed the then-developing Disney+-intended revival she was showrunning over creative differences. Series star Hilary Duff would rather quickly hint that those creative differences entailed as being thought not "family-friendly" enough by executives at the streamer. Now, thanks to write…
