'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3' Disney+ Arrival Date Announced
With teeth on the floor, you will soon get your Phyla this film at home
If Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 was Star Lord, we’d all be grandpa Jason, because the latest film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is headed home. Disney has announced that the film will be land on Disney+ on August 2.
Following its May 5 theatrical release, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3’s theatrical exclusivity window is 89 days, the full 90 counting the May 4 Thursday previews. That matches the preceding Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (February 17 to May 17), and just a week more than Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 11 to February 1). It truly seems that Disney has settled back into a consistent window resembling the norm pre-pandemic. So look out, Haunted Mansion is definitely getting a Halloween streaming premiere when that time comes around.
'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' Sets Streaming Premiere Date On Peacock
It’s party time for Mario and Luigi. They may be sharing time between Brooklyn and the Mushroom Kingdom, but the brothers are finally ready to make home on Peacock. The NBCUniversal-owned streamer announced Thursday that The Super Mario Bros. Movie will exclusively arrive there on August 3.
The film, directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Chukwudi Iwuji, is the second highest grosser of the year with $842.4M worldwide, behind Universal and Illumination’s Super Mario Bros Movie, also starring Pratt which has earned $1.34 billion. That film arrives on Peacock the very next day after a full month longer theatrical window. The August 2 Disney+ date is one day after the movie's Blu-ray physical release, which is the ninth anniversary of the first film, and follows the July 7 digital release.

Iman Vellani, The MCU's Ms. Marvel, To Co-Write Character's Comics Return
The death of Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #26 drew a lot of deserved outrage and well-lobbed assessments of fridging. What was most obvious was, with an increased presence in the public consciousness and a new movie coming in just a few months, it wasn’t going to stick. It very rarely ever does.
