Sylvie Warns “Everything Is Turning To Sh**” In New 'Loki' Season 2 Trailer
Lots of Ke Huy Quan in just 45 seconds, a good sign
With four weeks and the rest of that landed week (at the time this opening was written) until Loki season 2 arrives on Disney+, a new 45-second trailer has been released.
It’s almost unbelievable that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has been pulled through time, past, present, and future. The fairs, the amusement parks. The lavish premieres. Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie knows everything is turning to shit but it can’t be that bad with this much Ke Huy Quan. We see Victor Timely’s machine activated this time, and Sylvie and Loki create energy pulses together to repel opposing forces. Buttons pushed, rallying calls pled, Loki may very well be falling apart.
Loki Has A Hard Timeslip In 'Loki' Season 2 Trailer
It has only been five days since Marvel Studios’ latest series, Secret Invasion, but it seems they and Disney+ are already ready to start promoting the upcoming second season of Loki, even when the actors can’t. The official trailer was released on Monday.
In the new season, Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. He builds a team with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and new and returning characters, like Quan’s Ouroboros or “OB”, navigating a constantly-growing multiverse with evermore danger in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, and apparently Miss Minutes. Along the way the truth of the meaning of free will and purpose will reveal itself.
The series also stars Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero as TVA receptionist Casey, Rafael Casal as Brad Wolfe, Tara Strong as the voice of Miss Minutes, Kate Dickie and Liz Carr in currently undisclosed roles, Neil Ellice as Hunter D-90, and Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely and any other Kang variants that may show. Loki season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 6, while season 1’s Blu-ray and 4K UHD release is set for September 26.
'WandaVision', 'Loki', And 'The Mandalorian' Are Getting Physical Home Media Releases
In recent months, Disney+ had come under increased scrutiny for not having any physical home media for their original series. This became especially egregious when dozens of titles were removed from both Disney+ and Hulu, many of them originals. None of the removed have resurfaced in any fashion, but three of the most successful Disney+ series are getting Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases: WandaVision, Loki, and The Mandalorian.
