'Scream 7' Lands Michelle Randolph And Jimmy Tatro
You might not know the names, but you’ve definitely seen their faces lately
Just when you thought the ensemble for Paramount and Spyglass’s Scream 7 couldn’t get any bigger, it has. The next installment of the horror franchise has added 1923 star Michelle Randolph and Home Economics star Jimmy Tatro.
Being actors new to the franchise, their roles have not been revealed. Randolph has been in Paramount circles quite a bit lately, starring on two of Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ series, Yellowstone prequel 1923 as Jack Dutton's feisty and capable fiancée Liz Strafford, and Landman as Ainsley Norris, Tommy and Angela's strong-willed daughter. In addition to Home Economics, where he starred on ABC alongside Topher Grace and Sasheer Zamata for three seasons from 2021 to 2023, Tatro co-created, executive produced, and starred on The Real Bros of Simi Valley, which ran from 2017 to 2020 for three seasons across YouTube and Facebook Watch. A movie was released on Roku in July 2024. Recently seen in Theater Camp and You’re Cordially Invited, he recently wrapped production on the action comedy Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice from 20th Century Studios.
'Scream 7' Gets Wily Nabbing David Arquette Return As Dewey
Seems in this phase of the Scream franchise the Ghostfaces aren’t the only ones killed onscreen allowed to come back, and it seems Courteney Cox has gotten her wish. After being the first casualty of the original survivor party in 25 years in 2022’s fifth installment, David Arquette will reprise his role as retired sheriff Dewey Riley for the
Scream 7 sees the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, now with her family by her side. Namely her husband, Mark Evans played by Joel McHale and at least one child, played by Isabel May. McHale is currently the only actor joining the franchise whose character name is known, while Randolph and Tatro join the list that has Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, McKenna Grace, Anna Camp, Sam Rechner, and Ethan Embry all with names unknown, though Camp and Rechner are reportedly playing mother and son. Mark Consuelos is reportedly playing Robbie, a news reporter. Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers and Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding as Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin return from the previous film, while David Arquette, Scott Foley, and Matthew Lillard are set to reprise their roles as Dewey Riley, Roman Bridger, and Stu Macher in some fashion. This franchise has had its ways that don’t involve resurrection. And while he hasn’t been brought up, we should be expecting Roger L. Jackson back as the voice of Ghostface, whoever it ends up being.
Kevin Williamson, who of the original four Wes Craven-directed films only missed out on writing the third, is directing for the first time in the franchise. Guy Busick, who wrote Scream and Scream VI with James Vanderbilt is going alone. Vanderbilt, representing Project X Entertainment with William Sherak and Paul Neinstein are producing with Radio Silence, the directors of the fifth and sixth installments, serving as executive producers. Scream 7 releases in theaters on February 27, 2026.
Former Ghostfaces Scott Foley And Matthew Lillard Returning For 'Scream 7'
Ain’t that a shot in the head? Matthew Lillard, who played Stu Macher, half the original Ghostface team in the 1996 slasher Scream, and Scott Foley, the Felicity star who made his film debut as Roman Bridger in Scream 3, are returning for the now-Paramount/Spyglass franchise’s seventh installment,
