'South Park: Snow Day!' Precipitates A Blizzardy Release Date
An early spring snow day doesn’t sound too bad, right?
The new kid gets to experience his first snow day with Butters, Tweak, Clyde and the whole South Park gang in South Park: Snow Day!, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’s now been announced that its release to all these consoles will be happening on March 26, 2024.
From South Park Digital Studios and THQ Nordic, the player vs. environment or PvE game allows up to four players in co-op to take on foes after a blizzard cancels school and thus a snow day is called. There will be two versions available: The standard version at $29.99, a Digital Deluxe Edition for $49.99, and a Collector's Edition, which includes a copy of the game, a Grand Wizard Cartman Snow Globe, a Grand Wizard Cartman Talking Toilet Paper Holder, a Grand Wizard Cartman knit beanie, a selection of six Tarot Cards, and the game’s soundtrack. It comes at a price of $219.99.

The gameplay includes thematically-appropriate melee and ranged weapons, special abilities, powers, and character skins. As for the show, the second Paramount+ special for the year “(Not Suitable For Children)” was released earlier this week. If pattern holds, at least what’s been set by the two fuller post-COVID seasons, season 27 should be rather recently wrapped up, as seasons 25 and 26 ran from early February to mid-March.
