'Superman & Lois', 'Harley Quinn' San Diego Comic-Con Panels Will Feature New Season Trailers
Leap tall convention centers in a single bound! San Diego Comic Con is on its way!
San Diego Comic-Con is less than a week away, and DC Comics has panels for its comics and television sides, with Saturday July 27, having hourlong panels for My Adventures with Superman at 10 AM, Batman: Caped Crusader at 2:45 PM, and the previously reported The Penguin panel at 4:45 PM. Its next trailer was confirmed to be screening there, and now we can say the same for both Superman & Lois’s final season (Saturday, 11:15 AM) and Harley Quinn, who shares its panel (Friday, 8:15 PM) with its just-premiered spinoff, Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, which will have released episode 3 by panel time.
For Superman & Lois, they’ve made it quite a process, because on Thursday, the show socials released the final season’s first poster, ominously asking “What is a world without Superman?” with Superman’s shredded, tattered cape in orbit of Earth. They also teased a trailer, which turned out to be a teaser for the official one that will be unveiled at the Hall H panel. The lean into The Death of Superman is very much apparent as Doomsday, in the wake of the battle season 3 ended on has him very clearly emerging victorious over the Man of Steel. Lois is understandably bawling, but Lex Luthor (played by Michael Cudlitz) finds it a cause for victory. Stars Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch, who play Superman and Lois Lane respectively, executive producers Todd Helbing and Brent Fletcher will be the panelists. Enjoy the moment.
'Superman & Lois' Gets Full-Night Final Season Premiere On The CW’s Fall Schedule
For its final season, Superman & Lois will kick off with a bang. For only the second time in the history of the Arrowverse, one of its shows will occupy a full night on The CW’s primetime schedule with two brand new episodes. Superman & Lois’s final season will premiere in just that manner on Thursday, October 17, the network announced amongst its fall …
The fourth and final season of Superman & Lois will premiere on The CW on Thursday, October 17 with a two-hour premiere starting at 8:00 PM, continuing in that timeslot for the remaining 8 weekly episodes. Hoechlin, Tulloch, and Cudlitz star alongside Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent and Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent. Previous series regulars that were shed by budget cuts will be back as either guests or recurrers. New castmembers include Yvonne Chapman as Amanda McCoy, who headed LuthorCorp in Lex’s absence, and Douglas Smith as Daily Planet colleague Jimmy Olsen. Here’s the poster, graciously paired with a new poster for Caped Crusader that’s been released, because alone the latter isn’t enough to justify an article.

TVLine’s Matt Mitovich tipped the inquiring Jeff at the end of his requested scoop on the Inside Line that the trailer would be coming at the Harley Quinn/Kite Man panel. The scoop itself, which he got from speaking to showrunner Dean Lorey, who will be attending virtually, reveals that for Season 5, “I wanted to get the old gang back together and get a little back to basics. So it’s a different season, it’s a bit more focused, and it has a lot of new stuff but with the same group.” He elaborates that “we resolve the things that we needed to from Season 4” including that Nightwing cliffhanger “it is a very new season.” The panel will also be attended by Lake Bell, Matt Oberg, James Adomian, Justin Halpern, and Patrick Schumacker.
