Together, the pair have scored films such as The Social Network, Soul, Bird Box, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Mank, Gone Girl, and Empire of Light. Their scores for The Social Network and Soul, the latter with Jon Batiste won the Academy Award for Best Original Score. Their score for Mank lost to Soul in the category, and their score for the Watchmen TV series won the equivalent Primetime Emmy. In February, Seth Rogen, an executive producer of the film, said that director Jeff Rowe compared the film's soundtrack to that of the Tony Hawk’s video game series and revealed that it would incorporate songs from the first Pro Skater. He described it as a "random assortment of music" that fits well and shares the "same energy and spirit." Now we know that it’s Reznor and Ross bringing it all together.
