Hello Schmoes! Count All The Beans In The Trailer For The Final Season Of 'Disenchantment'
All episodes will be released on Netflix September 1
The end is nigh for Bean, Elfo and Luci. Netflix has released the official trailer for the fifth and final season of the Matt Groening-created animated series Disenchantment.
It was just a few weeks ago that part five was announced that Disenchantment would be ending with its fifth part on September 1, but only a teaser was attached. With a small window to further market, the new full trailer came very quickly. It’s shock therapy party time that Bean withstands, just wanting to move on and kill her mother, the sorceress, the evil asswipe Queen Dagmar. To save Dreamland from her wicked rule, Bean must do so and escape a prophecy foretelling she’ll kill a loved one. There are high stakes in play as they face Satan, a headless corpse, an evil scientist and their terrifying true destiny.
The world can go dark as Bean hones in on her powers. Magic can make one crazy, but if she can control her emotions she’ll be fine. Mora asks what Bean wants before it’s shown they get an inopportune “I love you” moment. It’s a confrontation that involves all of Dreamland, its land and seadwellers. It all endeth here. It’s Count Down the Final.
The series stars Abbi Jacobson as Princess Bean, Eric André as Luci, Nat Faxon as Elfo, Matt Berry as Prince Merkimer, Sharon Horgan as Queen Dagmar, John DiMaggio as King Zog, Tress MacNeille as Queen Oona, and Maurice LaMarche as Odval. Other cast includes Billy West, Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding, Meredith Hagner, David Herman, and Lucy Montgomery.
