'Iron Man And His Awesome Friends' Powers Up With Disney Jr., Disney+ Premiere Dates
Suit up and hulk out when Amazing welcomes Awesome this August
Disney Jr. is building quite the Marvel power hour, with Spidey and His Amazing Friends premiering its fourth season this month, and the imminent arrival of the similarly-formatted Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. Touted the first animated Iron Man preschool series, it premieres Monday, August 11, on Disney Jr. at 8:30 AM ET/PT, and later that day on Disney Channel. The first 10 episodes will then be available on Disney+ in the United States and select international markets and Disney Jr. on Demand the following day, Tuesday, August 12. International rollout will continue over this year and next.
As the synopsis goes, it follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho as they work together to solve problems, both big and small, and save the day protecting their city. They utilize their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength. Iron Man and His Awesome Friends stars, as previously announced Mason Blomberg as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams aka Ironheart, Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho aka Iron Hulk, Tony Hale as Ultron, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm, and Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man. The series will have its own Sam Wilson Captain America, T’Challa Black Panther, and Aña Corazon as Iron Spider, as allies to call on when help is needed or just for a fun day. They will be introduced through its own Meet Iron Man and his Awesome Friends shorts series (like Spidey has) which will premiere on Monday, July 14, across Disney Jr., the Disney Jr. and Marvel HQ YouTube channels, and all 10 shorts available Tuesday, July 15, on Disney+. Spidey introduced its Black Panther (also T’Challa) in its second story (episode 1B), but seeing as Tony is a John Stamos-voiced adult in Spidey, we will likely be seeing a different iteration, though it could end up similar.
'Iron Man And His Awesome Friends' Announces Rogues Voices
This I wouldn’t exactly call 6+ months “soon”, but Disney Jr.’s upcoming preschool Iron Man animated series Iron Man and his Awesome Friends has had its three lead villains announced by Disney Branded Television on Tuesday. With a promised summer premiere on the channel and
And because why stray from a good formula even behind the scenes, Spidey’s Patrick Stump has his own counterpart in Mark Hoppus, bassist, vocalist and founding member of blink-182, as writer and singer of this series’s theme song, “Totally Awesome”. However, the parallel is not complete, as Matthew Margeson is the series’s overall composer. “Totally Awesome” is already released on digital music stores as well as the Disney Jr. YouTube channel, ahead of a seven-song soundtrack released on August 15. Produced by Disney Jr. and Marvel Studios in association with Atomic Cartoons, Iron Man and his Awesome Friends is executive produced by Sean Coyle and Harrison Wilcox. James Eason-Garcia is co-executive producer and story editor; Alex Cichon is supervising producer; Ashley Rideout is producer; and Michael Dowding is supervising director.
'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Marks One Month Until Release With Final Trailer
So yeah I missed covering Ironheart’s two subsequent trailers and first clip, which turned out to be from the third episode “We in Danger, Girl”. I might still be able to salvage something from it, so stay tuned. Still, Marvel Studios brought us more Wednesday morning, as
