Lili Taylor Takes Political Fisk In ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2
It’s time to clash and be antifash against Mayor Kingpin
Hell’s Kitchen is getting more new faces next season on Daredevil: Born Again. The Disney+ series from Marvel Television is welcoming Rudy and High Fidelity actress Lilli Taylor in the second season.
Production has been underway for most of the month already in New York. Reportedly, Taylor is playing a political challenger to Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, who has risen to the mayorship this season. Her casting follows that of Good Girls’s Matthew Lillard. The series thus far has seen Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, amid a continued fight for justice through his bustling law firm and his vigilante identity Daredevil. When his and Fisk’s past identities and a serial kuller begin to emerge, both of them find themselves on an inevitable collision course. As the season is ongoing, the long list of season 1 cast members are largely unconfirmed so non-returnees, by story methods, can remain a surprise. However, Cox and D’Onofrio, are confirmed to be joined once again by Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle AKA The Punisher, and even Elden Henson as Foggy Henson. Somehow. If you know you know.
