Hulu Cues Up 'King Of The Hill' Trailer For New Season
You okay there Bill? Wanna come bring Arlen to San Diego?
I tell you hwat, that stunt where people sent pictures of their trailers to King of the Hill’s socials was quite the stall tactic. Still, Hulu did hold up their end, releasing the trailer on Thursday, ahead of the full 14th season drop on August 4. The barbecue is cooking and asking for seconds.
For 15 years we’ve waited for the king to return. It turns out Boomhauer hugging Hank was basically the first time after Hank moved back from Saudi Arabia that he’s seen him. We also learn why Bill disappeared from the intro sequence sometime in early COVID: he became a recluse shut-in who doesn’t leave his bed, and barely grooms. The trailer showcases Hank’s latest struggles: Zoom calls, all-gender bathrooms, fruitier beers, vegans (still?), recognizing a pocket dial (though that seems to be more Peggy’s issue) and biggest of all, retirement. We also get our first look inside Bobby’s German-Japanese fusion restaurant, though it does have some critters. Hank even becomes a referee and gets kidnapped for it, likely from the fourth episode “New Ref in Town”.
New ‘Percy Jackson', 'King Of The Hill', 'Wonder Man' Footage Featured In Hulu/Disney+ Sizzle Reel For Back Of 2025
Well, we’re officially a week over halfway through 2025, and it seems Hulu and Disney+ were ready to show off in bulk what they have for the rest of the year. While it’s not quite everything, as you won’t find new peeks of The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball
As previously reported, the official description for season 14 of King of the Hill reads “After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.” The series continues to star Mike Judge as Hank and Boomhauer, Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Pamela Adlon as Bobby, Stephen Root as Bill, and Lauren Tom as Minh and Connie. Johnny Hardwick managed to get six episodes recorded as Dale but his role has been picked up by Toby Huss starting with episode 7. Huss was previously the voice of Kahn, and it is this trailer release that takes the opportunity to officially announce that it was relinquished to The Daily Show correspondent and M3GAN and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings actor Ronny Chieng. For a refresher, Kahn Souphanousinephone is Hank’s Laotian neighbor who lives with his (now-estranged?) wife Minh. He is described as “arrogant and has maintained his superiority complex towards his Arlen neighbors. He is ultra-competitive and often butts heads with Hank as he attempts to ‘win’ at life. He loves his daughter Connie, but tries to control her life and thinks she is too good to associate with Bobby Hill.”
To promote the new season, King of the Hill is headed to San Diego Comic-Con, with an activation located right next to the Convention Center in the Bayfront’s Parking Lot A that allows attendees to step into the Hill family’s backyard for a cookout, complete with actual barbecue treats served up throughout the day, classic lawn games, themed photo ops and a cold can of water dressed as Alamo beer to beat the heat. There will also custom merchandise and exclusive prizes. The show’s panel is Friday, July 25 in the Indigo Room from 4:00 to 4:45 PM Eastern, 1:00 to 1:45 PM Pacific. Co-creators and executive producers Judge and Greg Daniels, as well as showrunner and executive producer Saladin Patterson, along Adlon, Tom, and Huss. Are you up for seconds?

Even with no Marvel nor DC, San Diego Comic-Con will still manage to book enough big panels that sufficiently fill the void. Even Ketchup Entertainment nabbed one for Coyote vs. Acme. But even in the chaos of the Paramount-Skydance merger, CBS Studios made sure
