New ‘Percy Jackson', 'King Of The Hill', 'Wonder Man' Footage Featured In Hulu/Disney+ Sizzle Reel For Back Of 2025
Also, check out what some of these shows and 'Doctor Who' will be doing at San Diego Comic-Con!
Well, we’re officially a week over halfway through 2025, and it seems Hulu and Disney+ were ready to show off in bulk what they have for the rest of the year. While it’s not quite everything, as you won’t find new peeks of The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder or Eyes of Wakanda, and no firsts for Marvel Zombies, Futurama’s next season, Solar Opposites’s last, or whatever next new Hulu-exclusive episodes for The Simpsons or Family Guy are. Heck, the Doctor Who spinoff miniseries The War Between The Land and The Sea, which is a Disney Branded Television co-production, is also missing. It still features Chad Powers, All’s Fair, Alien: Earth (premiering August 12), The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the King of the Hill revival, Only Murders in the Building, and Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. Yeah it’s very Hulu-heavy.
This teaser isn’t really here for plot, it’s about psyching up and hyping up, using soundbytes like “I’ve got something coming up”, “I love surprises”, and “I’m telling you, it’s time”. While King of the Hill sits on releasing its trailer while everyone shows them their mobile homey vehicles, we get to see a bonfire, Hank’s horror, Joseph riding horses with John Redcorn, Bobby telling Hank the world has changed over his beer home brewery, and then Boomhauer gives Hank a hug. At the ending, we get a “here we go!” from Dale, and Bobby and Connie clink cheers at the bar. In Marvel Television’s Wonder Man, Simon Williams, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, is seen waiting in a hall with other auditioners. Trevor Slattery played by Ben Kingsley, elsewhere tells him it’s not too late to turn it around and regain forward momentum…or he’s telling him to give up. Either way, there’s a scream somewhere. Speaking of screaming, that’s all you can do when the monsters come on Alien: Earth. Over on Percy Jackson and the Olympians we get glimpses of swordfights and chariot races.
Marvel’s ’Eyes Of Wakanda' Premiere Date Announced With Teaser Release
Marvel Studios’s latest Disney+ miniseries, or at least was conceived as one, the live-action Ironheart starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams reprising the role she began in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, completed the two-week rollout Tuesday night with its final three episodes, “Bad Magic”, “Karma’s a Glitch” and “The Past is in the Past”. With …
As luck would have it, Disney Entertainment Television revealed their San Diego Comic-Con plans. Keeping in mind that any Wonder Man presence would be under Marvel Studios jurisdiction and I’d rather include King of the Hill with its 20th Television Animation and Animation Domination brethren, here’s everything else. Starting with Alien: Earth, there will be an experience with the mysterious wreckage of the USCSS Maginot on the Hilton Bayfront Lawn, complete with interactive thrills and never-before-seen alien specimens. During the day, guests can explore new areas of the USCSS Maginot, and then brave a terrifying mission at “The Wreckage: Code Red” in the nighttime. The FX series will have a Hall H Panel for the world premiere of its pilot episode and a Q&A with series creator Noah Hawley, executive producer David W. Zucker and the cast on Friday, July 25 from 4:25-5:50 PM Eastern/1:25-2:50 PM Pacific. When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
A Percy Jackson experience located at Fifth Ave and L St. will give fans the chance to see through the mist, discover which of the gods they’ve been claimed by, and use exclusive drachma for God-inspired swag from mythological beings. The series has its own Hall H panel on opening day, Thursday, July 24, from 2 PM to 3 PM Eastern, 11 AM to noon Pacific moderated by guest star Timothy Simons, with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn and Daniel Diemer on hand alongside executive producers Jon Steinberg, Craig Silverstein and Dan Shotz, for a conversation packed with behind-the-scenes stories and significant details on the new season, which premieres this December.
'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Sets 'Curse' For Season 3 With Renewal At Disney+
It has officially been confirmed that we have quite a while until the premiere of the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+. However, the streamer has given the greenlight for the show to go beyond the Sea of Monsters by ordering a third season of the series based on Rick Riordan’s books.
On Monday, BBC Studios did announce a UNIT Black Archive pop-up experience for SDCC, which might be why it’s separate from the other Disney announcements. The Black Archive is a top-secret classified facility where the most dangerous alien artifacts and forbidden knowledge are stored, here full of props and artifacts from the 62-year history of the show, including Easter eggs for the upcoming miniseries. Fans around the world will be able to join the adventure with an exclusive digital offering of the facility from the franchise website. It is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday to Saturday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Each night (Thursday-Saturday) 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Black Archive will transform into a thrilling mission where fans help the Doctor uncovering hidden clues and secrets. Finishers will be rewarded with an exclusive SDCC prize. The in-person experience includes an exclusive merchandise shop, and a transportive photo experience inside the Fifteenth Doctor’s TARDIS. In town, fans can also visit the Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder: Where Science Meets Fiction exhibition, which came to the States for the first time this year at Comic-Con Museum, which has even more original props and costumes, and chances to explore the science of it all.
“We’re incredibly proud to bring the Whoniverse to life at San Diego Comic-Con in such an ambitious and immersive way,” said Callie Bryan the franchise’s Head of Marketing. "From the Black Archive to the TARDIS, exclusive merchandise and a global digital mission, this experience is designed to celebrate the legacy of Doctor Who while inviting fans everywhere to be part of its future."

Disney Channel is setting up a very special rock and roll fantasy camp this July, but it only felt right to cover the new looks at camp (in multiple ways) before getting to the rock and roll. Just a month after releasing the teaser trailer for the newest
