Negasonic Teenage Warhead Is Back For 'Deadpool 3'
And she's bringing her girlfriend Yukio too! How sweet!
Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna are set to return for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3. the latest of a good handful of returnees for the sequel starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc With the Mouth.
Hildebrand is back as the breakout Negasonic Teenage Warhead, or possibly simply Warhead now that it’ll be a decade since the first film. A member of the X-Men, her powers include generating high-impact kinetic charges like nuclear explosions. Kutsuna meanwhile returns as Yukio, Warhead’s Japanese girlfriend, a fellow mutant X-Men member who’s apparently a ninja with technical prowess and electrokinesis.
No exact plot details are known about this third installment, other than involving Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine and Emma Corrin as the villain Besides Reynolds as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, the third installment also brings back his allies such as Karan Soni as driver sidekick Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as roommate Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as his fiancée Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as the metallic mutant Colossus and Rob Delaney as human X-Force member Peter.
Directed by Shawn Levy, he, Reynolds, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells have scripted the film. Reynolds will also produce alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Hildebrand’s other credits include the films Playing with Fire, Tragedy Girls and First Girl I Loved, and played Lucifer and Chloe’s daughter from the future Aurora "Rory" Decker-Morningstar on the sixth and final season of Lucifer. Kutsuna has extensive appearances in Japanese film and television but has appeared in Netflix’s Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2024, the first film in Phase Six of the MCU.
